For those who haven’t checked it out yet, The Jockeys is my web comic based around two radio DJs, their cousin (a monster) and one of the DJ’s killer pet snake. Since I stared in late 2009 it’s developed a darker tinge. It was originally a clean-cut series but after almost a year hiatus the character’s personalities finally started showing up, and they’re not as pristine as I’d originally thought. Bernie (the monster) in particular is my favorite. Nothing is out of the realm of possibilities with him – even shaving him bald for laughs. Here’s my most gaming-centric comic so far, posted on October 10th, 2010.
Bernie’s the gamer of the group, but Joey doesn’t understand them. Joey and Bernie argue allot, over games, sports, getting work done, French basketball-playing monsters, you name it. If you want to see more, check out the full series at their homepage.
