I’m back for week two of my escapades. Having not found any immediate solution to my nether problem, I instead wasted valuable time and manpower doing randomly useless things around my world.

Here’s my well at the base of my water tower. Hey, let’s do something stupid!

Let’s try to swim up the tower! Yeah, nothing could possibly go wrong!!

I actually got all the way to the top before I was swept off, but I fell back into the water and just rode it back down.
Me In Minecraft Meet my pet bloopers. I’m using the painterly pack, so my squids are all blooper-fied. I found this bunch in a small pond-under an overhang behind my house, so I put some lights up for them.

Back in my house that night, I noticed something. The moon may look cool here, from my side window…

… but it looks awesome from my through my front window. The sun rises in the same place, so it’s a sight, too.

I went for a walk to get a feel for my area and found  this monolith to the north of my home. I think it looks like something but I don’t know what yet. I’ll have to think of a name for it, if I don’t tear it down first.

Being in a taiga biome, I was excited to find this semi-not-arctic island to my north-east. I’ll have to go there someday.

OMGWTF?! Snow! I’d never seen weather in Minecraft before! This was cool. I’ve played hours and hours of Minecraft but never seen weather. I had just surfaced from a full night in my mine, making this one of the few times I hadn’t slept the night through, so maybe that was the reason.

I’m not making any progress, and I’m not accomplishing anything. Next time, I’ll make forward strides, I’m sure.
