Yes, I know we haven’t gotten around to reviewing Bioshock Infinite yet, but obviously that doesn’t stop Irrational Games from producing DLC for it. Two have been announced with one due for today.
The DLC due today, Clash in the Clouds, looks like a basic horde/challenge mode where you attempt to survive wave after wave of baddies in ever-increasing increasing strength and numbers. Sound familiar? Yeah, every action game seems to have one of these nowadays. However, the 2nd DLC sounds pretty familiar as well, just in a different manner.
In the second DLC, Burial at Sea: Episode 1, you get visit a gleaming city, a utopia placed far beneath the sea by one Andrew Ryan. Yes, you’re headed back to Rapture, pre-collapse as Booker DeWitt, and by the looks of things Elizabeth is tagging along for the journey. However, if the trailer is anything to go by she’s looking a little more world-weary that I remember. I haven’t seen a release date for this one yet.
It looks like Bioshock Infinite fans will have plenty to keep them busy in the coming months.
