How much bite does the Alpha Dog have?

Well, the time has come for another e-AAGH.net Hardware Review, and again it's a video card. The first two we reviewed were both budget entries, but this one has a little more kick to it. Shipping with a 256-bit memory bus, a GPU clock speed of 600 Mhz and a memory speed of 1800 Mhz, this is your base-line, reference spec GeForce 8800GT card. It doesn't sport the full-length cooler of the reference card, though. My other two cards I've reviewed, the HD 2600 XT and 8600 GT XXX were ok cards for the price, but does the 8800GT live up to it's billing as one the best 'bang for the buck' boards one can buy?
