NBA 2K14 was a solid, if not spectacular basketball when we reviewed It on PC. It was identical in many ways to its predecessors and had some nagging flaws that drug our opinion of it down some. Fashionably late as ever, we’re taking a look at Grand Theft Auto 5 today. I blocked out allot of the hype that has been built up around this game, primarily because I felt I let the hype get to me in Grand Theft Auto IV, resulting in my overrating it in our review. Once upon a time, I used to love playing football games. I played the hell out of Madden 08 for PC, and NFL 2K5 for PlayStation 2 is still my favorite. I really dislike Madden 25 though, for a myriad of reasons. It may not be a terrible game but there are problems here that I can’t overlook.

Sometimes games are easy to review, sometimes they’re hard. For me, harder games to review are those that require coordinated multiplayer – scheduling with friends who also own the game in question can be a trick. Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine is one such game that I knew was going to be a bit of a pain. Fortunately, its arrival on Xbox Live Arcade came at just the right time: Not only was I able to rope Will from Chaos is Gaming in, our associate “Jverde” was in town for a few weeks and willing to help us pull off our top-down 2D heists. The results were convincing of one thing: we have no business starting a life of crime.

Minecraft for the Xbox 360 is what it sounds like, and little more. It’s Minecraft on your Xbox, which is far from a bad thing. In fact, it brings some benefits over its PC counterpart. Unfortunately it also brings some drawbacks.
