It is now official; after wondering for a while, 2K Sports has announced that NBA 2K15 on the PC will be a port of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 rather than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 port from years past. For fans of basketball on PC this is good news, but it comes with some pitfalls.
While playing Wildstar recently, I was struck several times about how little I was invested in the story and world I was partaking in. I couldn’t name or even recognize the races of the characters I was dealing with, and the world itself, while attractively designed, simply didn’t draw me in. Electronic Arts is stopping support for The Sims 2 and its various expansions on July 22nd. This may sound like the death knell for the classic game (that I have argued as being as good or better than The Sims 3), but in stark contrast, EA is instead releasing The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for anyone who owned Sims 2 on Origin for free.
