The Demo is Up and Live

Yes, folks, the Madden NFL 09 demo is live on Xbox Live a day early.  You can take the Madden IQ test and then take to the field to re-create Eli Manning's dramatic final drive of the Super Bowl in a Madden Moment. It's not much, but if you're like me, you'll love taking your first Madden IQ test. I sucked, mind you, on defense, only gaining one point in rookie skill, and then only on pass defense. On offense, though, I was maxed-out All-Pro, all the way, leading to a 408 IQ level. Not great, but I guess it could be worse. Take the test and see how you compare to your friends!

Personally, the first word to pop in my head once the game proper started was GORGEOUS. This game blows Madden 08 away, visually. It also plays very, very well. Here's hoping that the final game is as solid as the demo.
