Life as a Superstar, Pt 3

It was finally time. Time to put everything I've learned into practice. Time to seperate the men from the boys. Time to play... the Super Bowl.

We arrived in Tampa Bay and the excitement was overwhelming. I was beside myself at the chance to lead the 'Niners to glory. All that stood left opposing me was Tom Terrific, Tom Brady and his New England Patriots. I was ready, though. I wasn't about to let the last 20 weeks be for nothing. We were going in to win, and we weren't leaving unless we did.

First snap on our first possession, and Cullpepper nearly throws the ball away, as it bounces out of the hands of a Patriots linebacker. That was too close. Two plays later, though, and I get a strong side handoff, stiff-arm a defender, and outrace the rest of the team 46 yards to paydirt. 7-0 49ers, and I was primed. I wasn't nervous anymore, so my play could only get better. Quickly, though, Brady hits Wes Welker for a score and it's knotted up at 7-7. We don't slow down, though, and I snap off a 43 yard touchdown run with :12 left in the first half. Halftime arrives and it's 14-7 San Francisco.
