The first quarter saw me run 63 yards for a TD, which should have tipped me (and them) off that I was going to have a big game. By halftime it was 19-3, I had three scores and was only about halfway done. In the second half, Daunte hit Veron Davis for one score, Moran Norris for another, and I ran in two more myself. The Lions put up no resistance, and I ran though and around their defense all day. My teammates and I also took pleasure in rubbing it in, since this was our breakout game of the year.

I finished the game with 136 yards and 5 touchdowns. Daunte threw for 151 yards, hitting me once for ten. This was our last game of the year, and a real turning point; after this, we never looked back. I ended the year with 1112 yards, (11th in the league) 13 TDs (tied for first), and an average of 69.5 yards per game (top ten). I also had 488 yards and one touchdown recieving. Antwaan Randel-El was our leading reciever with 629 yards. We actually had three recievers with over 550 yards on the year (Randel-El, Veron Davis and Bryant Johnson).

Come playoff time, we were again the NFC wildcard, and were scheduled to play the Dallas Cowboys.
