Madden NFL 09

Life as a Superstar, Pt 1

I've decided to chronical part of my career as a superstar in Madden NFL 09. My name (in game) is Bud Daniel, and I'm a 6'5" 235 lb running back. I got drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, and get to play behind Daunte Cullpepper daily. Yes, the same Cullpepper that flopped in Miami is leading the San Fran express. I find that he's usually accurate, but he tends to throw rather short routes instead of open long ones. Weak arm, maybe?

Anyway, I suit up with two team-color armbands, white wrist bands, and team-color gloves. I represent my team, dammit! My first game is a break-out game, and I blow by the Arizona Cardinals to the tune of 305 yards rushing. The next few weeks see my rushing totals come back to earth, but my recieving numbers go up, because we pass the ball way too much. 3rd and one? You'd run the HB up the gut, right? Especially a good trucking back, right? Not the 'Niners. I get yanked for a five reciever set more often then not. Do they not trust me? I'm a darn good receiving back! We'll never know.
