Planetside 2 and I don’t always get along. We bicker, we fight, we split up and decide to go our separate ways. But like some dysfunctional couple, I keep coming back and it always welcomes me with open arms – only to have me gunned down again by someone I totally didn’t see. Yup, it’s another of those games.
Planetside 2 is a huge game, so it will be getting a huge review. Or rather a Review In Progress. So here it is: Planetside 2, RIP.
Here’s some head-on action by me in Planetside 2. I have one of my better rounds with a solid squad, capping multiple bases and leveling up twice.
I once did a preview of FTL (Faster Than Light), and now that it’s out I wanted to do a series of play throughs before my review. Here is the first one.
Planetside 2’s beta non-disclosure agreement has lifted, so it’s time to provide my personal experience and take on the game. It’s a beta, only a beta, so we’re not going to be overly critical here.
When I sat down to do this review it dawned on me that I was attacking it from the wrong angle. People don’t want to know if they should play Final Fantasy VII. If they haven’t figured that out in the last 14 years, I probably can’t help them now. What I needed to look at was if they should play this version, and less on whether it’s worth a purchase as a game in 2012, because most people who pick it up will be buying it for the nostalgia factor. We need to decide if this release is worth the money.
It’s a little late now, but here’s my Mass Effect 3 review. I was high on the original Mass Effect and really enjoyed the sequel. What does the conclusion of the trilogy hold for me?
Duke Nukem Forever is under review here at e-AAGH.net, and it may be awhile before the review sees the light of day. Why, you ask? Because I’m not in to self-torture.
