Featuring a fine selection of fun, free online games, we’re routinely updating it and producing new games for it. Are you looking to blow your lunch break in a fast, fun, easy way? For those who like their world organized and their time managed, we have set up a tentative streaming schedule for our Extra Life marathon. After taking the results of our game poll into consideration, we have organized a selection of 45+ games as best we saw fit. We’re fairly flexible – and things are liable to go awry at some point – but now you know when you can tune in to watch us play the games that you would like to see.
UPDATE: We have moved our stream from it’s original scheduled start at 8 AM October 25th to 8 PM October 24th. We are still going for 24 hours, we’re just starting earlier. This post has been edited to reflect that.
On October 24th we will be participating in the Extra Life marathon for children’s hospitals and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Today could be the day of a significant shift for the gaming landscape as Microsoft has agreed to buy Mojang and therefore its landmark title, Minecraft for $2.5 billion. Let’s look at what it means for Minecraft’s immediate and long-term prospects, and why it happened.
With the NBA off season going haywire with rumors and speculation, here we’re going to spin that towards NBA 2K15, namely the status of the PC version. There are questions, and very few answers, but let’s look at them anyway.
By now you have likely heard about the upcoming shutdown of Gamespy’s online services. For those not following it, Gamespy is a service that provides the multiplayer component to many games from the past decade. It is being shut down at the end of this month and a slew of popular games will be affected.
In what started out as an indie developer tech demo gone crazy, Goat Simulator has arrived. Curious, I head to its Steam page for more information and find this as the product announcement from developer Coffee Stain Studios: “You can now be a goat.”
