As a late comer to the Assassins Creed series (the first one I played was Assassin’s Creed III), I don’t have a lot of preconceived notions about what the series can or should be. Instead I look at it from a more neutral angle, and from that point of view, I’m going on record that Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag is one of the best games I have played in 2013.
Playing Starbound, I’m reminded of my time in Terraria. I liked Terraria but it didn’t hold my attention for too long after writing my review. Starbound is more enticing due to its space theme. Don’t like the planet you started on? Hop aboard your starship and fly to a new one. It’s really liberating.

As stated in my First Opinion on Drox Operative: Invasion of the Ancients, space games are my thing. However, I am also picky about my space games. The question is, does Drox Operative offer that or is it more of a space cadet?
Do you watch Minecraft live streams on Twitch, wishing you could do one yourself but not having the time, patience or resources to install and configure a dedicated streaming program? Mojang rides to your rescue with their latest Minecraft snapshot, which includes integrated Twitch streaming.
I’m a space game fan. I especially enjoy RPG and sandbox titles set in space. Noctis, EVE Online, FTL: Faster Than Light, Starmade… I have a fascination with the stars. I recently started playing Drox Operative: Invasion of the Ancients and it fits that niche well. I’ve put in a few hours so let’s hit it with a First Opinion.
Blizzard’s recent convention has wrapped up, and the big news revolves around the announcement of their forthcoming World of WarCraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor. As a lapsed player I followed this announcement with interest, and it’s from that angle we’re going to look at it today.
Back in the swing of things post-Extra Life marathon, today we’re going to take give First Opinion on Batman Arkham Origins. As a fan of the previous two titles in the series, Arkham Origins has allot to live up to if it wants to impress me.
