We recently opened a new branch to All Around Gaming Hub, namely the AAGH Game Center. Featuring a fine selection of fun, free online games, we’re routinely updating it and producing new games for it. Are you looking to blow your lunch break in a fast, fun, easy way? This is your answer. Visit it, have some fun, and share it with your friends. You – and your friends – can thank us later.
There is something to be said about a long, deep single player role playing game, a rare breed these days, particularly quality ones. With Dragon Age Inquisition, Bioware has again exhibited their mastery of the craft, producing one of the best RPGs in years and a contender for Game of the Year. Just how good is it, though?
Dragon Age Inquisition has arrived at last, riding a massive hype train last seen ferrying the likes of Destiny and Watch Dogs. Such hype trains can easily turn in to flaming wrecks when the game they’re carrying can’t deliver on its promise, so let’s see what Dragon Age Inquisition brings to the table in this First Opinion.
Open world-style games are some of my favorites. The Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row series in particular produced some of my best experiences in the genre. Now Insomniac Games is bringing their take on the open world mayhem theme with Sunset Overdrive. Does it have a bright future, or is it the sun setting early on this newcomer?
Grand Theft Auto 5 was a crown jewel of the last generation of consoles. Released late in their life cycle, it brought an unpatrolled sense of place and purpose thought its beautifully realized game world. Now, with it returning later this month on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (and in January on PC), you will get to experience it from a whole new perspective: the first person perspective.
With the NBA season opening tonight, what better time to look at the latest entry in the NBA 2K series, NBA 2K15. This is the 2nd current gen NBA 2K, and the first current gen build to make its way to the PC, where we are reviewing it today. Is it as great as 2K Sports claims it is, or are we looking at a regression year for the perennial champs?
For those who like their world organized and their time managed, we have set up a tentative streaming schedule for our Extra Life marathon. After taking the results of our game poll into consideration, we have organized a selection of 45+ games as best we saw fit. We’re fairly flexible – and things are liable to go awry at some point – but now you know when you can tune in to watch us play the games that you would like to see.
UPDATE: We have moved our stream from it’s original scheduled start at 8 AM October 25th to 8 PM October 24th. We are still going for 24 hours, we’re just starting earlier. This post has been edited to reflect that.
On October 24th we will be participating in the Extra Life marathon for children’s hospitals and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. You can catch our live stream starting 8 PM Friday, October 24th on our Twitch.tv channel. As we did last year, we’re requesting input for what we should play, and you can cast your vote here .
